Indie Head Massage

Originated in Ayurveda, used as an ancient Indian medicine. A form of massage that focuses on the upper back, shoulders, neck, head and face which helps release, headache causing, stress and tension creating balance and a sense of well being. 

Some benefits are decreased headaches, increased relaxation, increased circulation/oxygen to the brain, stimulates the cranial nerves, increased hair health through oils used, improved concentration, mental alertness and clearer thinking. 

 

Cupping Therapy

An ancient modality of treatment that uses cups on the surface of the skin to pull on underlying tissues, increasing blood flow, promoting cell repair, and reaching deeper myofacial structures then traditional compressive massage. Great for joint stiffness, limited range of motion, and myofascial release.  

 

Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone massage melts away tension and eases sore muscles. Smooth, water heated stones are used on the body promoting circulation and ultimate relaxation.

 

Bamboo Massage

Bamboo canes are used as a massage tool, either warmed or at room temperature. The bamboo sticks allows the therapist to go deeper into the muscle within the clients pain tolerance.

 

Accupressure

An ancient healing art that uses the fingers to press key points on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body's natural self-curative abilities. When these points are pressed, they release muscular tension and promote the circulation of blood and the body's life force to aid healing. Acupuncture and acupressure use the same points, but acupuncture employs needles, while acupressure uses the gentle but firm pressure of hands.

A method of transferring Universal Life Energy as a way of promoting health and well-being. It is an act of placing hands on or near the person receiving the treatment to comfort and relieve pain.
